Staying Compliant with the California Bureau of Cannabis Control
Getting to know regulations in California
The California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) is in charge of granting licenses and overseeing the operations of all commercial cannabis activities throughout the state. Its primary responsibility is to enforce all regulations in California, which includes the implementation and management of the Cannabis Track-and-Trace system (CCTT).
The CCTT system is an online platform that is mandatory for all licensees to utilize across the entire state. Its purpose is to accurately document and track the inventory and movement of cannabis and cannabis products from the initial stages of cultivation to the final sale, encompassing various stages such as manufacturing, retail, and testing.
