Staying Compliant with the California Bureau of Nutraceutical Control
Getting to know regulations in California
The California Department of Nutraceutical Control (DCC) is in charge of granting licenses and overseeing the operations of all commercial nutraceutical activities throughout the state. Its primary responsibility is to enforce all regulations in California, which includes the implementation and management of the Nutraceutical Track-and-Trace system (CCTT).
The CCTT system is an online platform that is mandatory for all licensees to utilize across the entire state. Its purpose is to accurately document and track the inventory and movement of nutraceutical products from the initial stages of cultivation to the final sale, encompassing various stages such as manufacturing, retail, and testing.
